Desired Doué : An Exceptional Season at PSG, But No Extension to Horizon
Désiré Doué made a remarkable first season in Paris Saint-Germain, inspiring Didier Deschamps’ enthusiasm and confidence. Arriving at the club for an investment of 50 million euros, coming from Stade Rennais, the young player quickly caught his gap, impressive by his steady progression.
In 45 games with the PSG, Doué shined by scoring 13 goals and delivering 11 assists. This performance led him to be summoned by Didier Deschamps for the March rally.
Despite its excellent course, RMC Sport reveals that Paris Saint-Germain has not planned to launch negotiations for an extension of the contract of Désiré Doué, which is currently linked to the club until 2029. The club in the capital is currently focusing on the end of the season, with the ambitious goal of winning a semifinal of Champions League against Arsenal, scheduled for 29 April and 7 May.
