Summer preparations of AS Monaco with three new friendly meetings

Despite continuing rumours on social media about a future match against Inter Milan, AS Monaco has formalized a programme of three friendly meetings to prepare for next season. These games offer the team the opportunity to test themselves against opponents from different championships and levels. The innovative aspect of this program lies in the encounter with three clubs that have never been confronted so far on the ground.

The first opponent was Coventry City FC, an English club founded in 1883 that finished fifth in the second English division. The team is led by experienced coach Franck Lampard. Then, AS Monaco will face Nottingham Forest, a team that enjoyed a remarkable season in the Premier League, ranking seventh and confirming its evolution towards the top of English football. Finally, Monaco’s final friendly match will take place with the Armina Bielefeld, a second-tier German club that scored the game by eliminating the Bayer Leverkusen, under the leadership of Xabi Alonso, in the semifinal of the German Cup the previous year.

These three friendly meetings are an important step in the preparation of AS Monaco for the new season. They enable us to assess the team’s progress, test different strategies and strengthen the group’s cohesion. The opportunity to compete on teams of different levels, with renowned coaches, is a valuable asset in preparing the challenges ahead and facing the competition with confidence. These friendly matches are therefore seen as key elements in preparing for next season.
