AC Milan wants Guéla Doué the Racing Club of Strasbourg

AC Milan expressed its interest in the right side of the Racing Club in Strasbourg, Guéla Doué, with a first offer that would have been rejected. The Alsatian club is resistant to the sale of its player, considering it a key element for the construction of its team until 2026, like other important players such as Emaël Emégha and Sébastien Nana. Although the Racing Club in Strasbourg is aware that offers of more than 30 million euros could arrive, its current priority is to keep Guéla Doué for at least one additional season.

The rumour of Milanese interest was first relayed by the Italian press, notably La Gazzetta dello Sport, about a month ago. The Strasbourg club would have refused a first proposal of 15 million euros, estimating the value of its much higher player. This firm position is explained by Doué’s importance in the club’s sports plans, which considers him to be a player to be integrated into its development dynamics for the coming seasons.

Guéla Doué, who arrived in Strasbourg last summer for 6 million euros from Rennes, is under contract until June 2029. The previous season, he played 32 Ligue 1 games, contributing with one goal and two assists. Despite the possibility of a more lucrative offer, the Racing Club in Strasbourg insists on the need to keep Guéla Doué for at least one season, in order to continue the current sports project.
