Pierre Sage, head of RC Lens, confirmed the imminent departure of Morgan Guilavogui, adding to a series of departures already made, notably those of Rémy Label-Lascary and Jérémy Agbonifo. This situation, combined with the physical uncertainties of Martin Satriano and Wesley Said, requires the Lens club to recruit two new attackers. This information was officially confirmed at a press conference this Wednesday, stressing the urgency of an offensive reinforcement for next season.
Among the tracks explored by RC Lens, Lassin Sinayoko has distinguished himself as a priority. However, another option, Jusef Erabi, a Swedish attacker at Hammarby, seems to be ruled out. The 22-year-old is actively courted by two clubs, Millwall and KRC Genk, both of which have submitted offers of €5 million to join his services. Erabi, an international Swedish hope with 9 selections and 7 goals, is under contract until December 2026 and is expected to make its decision soon between the two proposals.
Millwall, currently 8th in Championship, sees Erabi as a reinforcement for his offensive sector, aiming to advance in the second English division. KRC Genk, for its part, wants to anticipate possible departures and to strengthen its staff with a view to a busy timetable, including participation in the Europa League. Erabi’s choice will not be an option for RC Lens, thus confirming the club’s strategy to turn to other tracks to meet its offensive needs.
