The Olympique de Marseille finds its central defender Leonardo Balerdi
Olympique de Marseille (OM) welcomes the upcoming return of its Argentine central defender, Leonardo Balerdi. The 26-year-old was the victim of a sprain of the knee during the defeat in Reims on March 29th, and could be titularised from this Sunday against Brest at the Stade Vélodrome.
OM coach Roberto De Zerbi expressed his wish to see Balerdi on the field next week. The Olympian staff has accelerated the pace to recover its central defender, who will bring his speed and his reading of the game against high-level opponents like Brest or Lille.
Balerdi’s presence is important for OM, not only in the field but also in the locker room. despitation
