Ayman Aiki sports uncertainty possible future transfer

Ayman Aiki, the ASSE winger, is at a pivotal moment in his career. Despite a contract running until June 2027, he was not invited to resume training with the professional group, pointing to uncertainty about his future role in the Stéphanois project. This absence is all the more notable since the young player had raised great hopes after promising debuts under Laurent Batlles, notably as one of the youngest scorers in the history of ASSE in Ligue 2 in August 2022. His talent, technique and ability to strike had led to a promising generation for the Stéphanois training, but his progress was hampered by collective difficulties and a lack of regularity.

After a loan to the SC Bastia in January 2025 that did not fully convince, marked by an injury interrupting its dynamics and preventing it from participating in the Maurice Revello tournament with the French U20 team, Aiki has not yet reached the expected size. Although its profile continues to be of interest to observers, ASSE, aware of its potential, is considering various options to revive its career. The club could opt for a new loan or study a transfer if an appropriate offer comes up, as the player keeps a good score, notably thanks to his 29 selections in the French team of all categories.

The summer will therefore be decisive for Ayman Aiki, who must now confirm his promises. If no new projects are defined, it may be relegated to the reserve team, a scenario that neither the player nor the club wants. Clubs like Bastia, where he left a good impression, or Getafe, who had expressed his interest in a previous summer preparation, could return to the charge in the coming weeks. The summer mercato could therefore offer it a new opportunity to recover, provided that the right choice is made. For him, it is no longer time for promises, but for confirmation of his talent.
