Concerns about supporters and changes in OL

The Bad Gones, a group of fans of Olympique Lyonnais, express their concern about the launch of the subscription campaign for the new season, as the football championship is fast approaching. They point to the delay in announcing rates and conditions, attributing this delay to an internal reorganisation of the club and to the continuing uncertainty surrounding OL’s maintenance in the first division. Despite their requests, the club did not wish to communicate on this file. The first home game will take place on Sunday 24 August against Metz.

Olympique Lyonnais’ reserve had a disappointing 2024-2025 season, slightly missing the promotion in National 2 after having conceded four consecutive defeats at the end of the season. The team finished in 5th place in National 3 with a score of twelve wins, four draws and ten defeats. However, the young players made a remarkable journey in the Premier League International Cup, reaching the final before bowing to the goal against Nottingham Forest. For the 2025-2026 season, OL will be in group H, where they will be facing the Olympique de Marseille, as well as FC Bourgoin-Jallieu, who had eliminated the first team in the Coupe de France the previous year, and their local rival, Lyon-La Ducher.

A major change has also taken place within OL, with Laurie Dacquignya leaving the management of the Women’s Academy, a personal choice that required the appointment of a replacement. Rachel Saรฏdi, a former First League player who led the LOSC in D1, was chosen to take over. After her career as a player, Saรฏdi quickly climbed the ranks by taking over the lead of the LOSC team, where she managed to get him into the first division before passing the torch.
