PSG triumphs 4-0 against Real Madrid and targets final

On Wednesday night, Paris Saint-Germain won a brilliant victory over Real Madrid in the semifinals of the World Cup of Clubs, with a score of 4-0. The PSG dominated the game from the beginning, imposing an intense rhythm and collective control that deprived Madrid players of any space. Fabián Ruiz opened the score from the 6th minute, followed shortly after by Ousmane Dembélé, before Ruiz doubled the bet. Luis Enrique’s team managed to control the field and prevent Vinicius and his teammates from creating dangerous opportunities. The PSG continued to manage the game in the second period, with an additional goal from Gonçalo Ramos at the end of the game.

Real Madrid goaltender Thibaut Courtois acknowledged PSG’s superiority after the match, highlighting the Paris team’s steady progress during the season. He described the PSG as “the best team in the world”, able to press high and create spaces. Courtois admitted that two individual errors changed the course of the game, but praised the effectiveness of the PSG in the first half. He also highlighted the disturbance of Ashraf Hakimi, who was often left alone in the middle of Madrid, thus contributing to several Parisian goals.

Despite a notable improvement in his team during the season, Courtois acknowledged that this improvement was still insufficient to counter the PSG’s plans. He stressed the importance of working and analyzing errors with the coach to improve. Courtois concluded by saying that the PSG is currently the best team in the world and that it is necessary to reach this level to compete. The Parisian team, carried by an oiled collective, a formidable dry cleaning and a rare technical accuracy, is now preparing for the final against Chelsea, with a well deserved favourite status.
