Maresca admires the PSG-Chelsea ready to challenge it- Eintrigue mondiale

As the World Cup final approached, Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca expressed his admiration for the Paris Saint-Germain, which he considers to be one of the best teams in the world. He stressed the exceptional character of each meeting with the PSG and said his team would do everything possible to deliver a great performance. Maresca also hailed the influence of Luis Enrique, the Parisian coach, the world football benchmark and whose team model is an example to follow. Despite this respect, Maresca made it clear that Chelsea did not simply come to admire the PSG, but was determined to win this final by relying on his own style of play and his vision of football.

For his part, Luis Enrique, the PSG coach, reaffirmed the importance of the collective within his team. He insists that individual talent must be subordinate to the general interest of the team, aiming to build a set of stars where each player, regardless of their status, contributes to common success. Enrique said the goal is to have 11, or even more than 15 players able to sacrifice themselves for the team and the staff. This philosophy is shared with the management of the club, which has actively contributed to the construction of a team focused on solidarity and service to the whole.

The Spanish coach also stressed the importance of the link with the Parisian audience, considering that the Parc des Princes represents much more than just a base of supporters. As soon as he arrived in Paris, he understood the huge expectation on the club and wished to meet it with an irreproachable team spirit. Enzo Maresca and Chelsea are preparing to face a major challenge, conscious of the quality of the PSG, but determined to write their own history in the World Cup finals.
