Montpellier ambition and Monaco confirms its young talents

Montpellier HSC continues its development policy by committing to recruiting promising young players. The club is about to host Antéo Benedetto, an 18-year-old goaltender who made his debut at AS Monaco. After three training seasons in the Monegasque club, the young doorman, now free of any contract, chose to join the Montpellier Hérault Sport Club in order to continue his progress. Benedetto, who has also developed in Racing FC Toulon and integrated the AiX-en-Provence Pôle Espoirs, represents a quality reinforcement for the Montpellier team.

At the same time, AS Monaco formalized the extension of Mika Biereth’s contract, a 22-year-old Danish attacker who quickly established himself as a key player on the team. Arrived last January, Biereth impressed with his offensive performance, with 13 goals and 3 assists in 19 games. This success was rewarded with a new contract linking him to AS Monaco until June 2030.

The announcement of Mika Biereth’s contract extension bears witness to AS Monaco’s confidence in the young attacker. The club expresses its satisfaction with this renewal, stressing the importance of Biereth in its future plans. This decision reinforces AS Monaco’s position in Ligue 1 and confirms its commitment to developing promising talents.
