Enhanced cohesion and targeted mercato for Stade Rennais

Habib Beye, the coach of Stade Rennais, spoke about the team’s cohesion training on the coast, stressing its success and the importance of strengthening the links between the players and the staff. The event, initiated by Laurent Bessiรจre, Director of Performance, helped to foster a sharing of user-friendly experiences, far from the usual hotel setting. Players enjoyed this immersion in a casual environment, with shared activities and a healthy spirit of competition. Beye insists that this cohesion is an essential pillar for sport performance, far beyond tactical aspects. He sees this type of internship as an investment in building the club’s identity and bringing the team closer to supporters.

Regarding mercato, Beye has a calm and confident attitude. He states that the club has identified player profiles corresponding to its game project, but that there will be no frenzy of arrivals. The aim is to strengthen the team with players who bring real added value and integrate into the existing group. It is aware of economic constraints and favours a thoughtful and focused approach. Beye ensures that arrivals will be limited and that they will not challenge the current team base.

As the second game of preparation against Stade Brestois approaches, Beye focuses on the team’s evaluation and the implementation of the game project. He plans to align a group of 25 players, with the participation of Alidu Seidu and Jรฉrรฉmy Jacquet, in reprise. Players exempted from recovery agreed to postpone their return to training in accordance with their contracts. Beye stresses the importance of giving all players playing time and maintaining solid cohesion throughout the pre-season. He expects his team to demonstrate progress and highlight the work done during the preparation.
