Olympique Lyonnais consolidates its key partnerships for the coming seasons. The club extended its agreement with Sword Group for four additional seasons, a 20-year collaboration that includes support for corporate projects and strategic development phases, including the construction of the Groupama Stadium. In addition, a new partnership has been sealed with DATASOLUTION for three seasons, which will become OL’s digital partner and create the club’s future website, with the brand on the top of the back of the players’ jersey.
OL is also facing significant departures. AC Milan does not oppose the departure of Lorenzo Torriani, goaltender tracked by OL, provided that he obtains guarantees of playing time. At the same time, Lucas Perri is expected to join Leeds United for 15 million euros, a sale motivated by a policy of financial rationalization. This transfer marks Lucas Perri as the best-selling guardian of OL’s history, although part of the money is donated to Botafogo. OL are actively looking for a replacement, and Lorenzo Torriani is a privileged track.
The extension of the agreement with Groupama for the Naming of the Groupama Stadium until 2030 is excellent news for OL, ensuring the sustainability of this important revenue source. This negotiation, initiated by Michele Kang, is part of a long-term development strategy of the club. Despite these movements, coach Paulo Fonseca is cautiously optimistic about the future, highlighting the positive and realistic vision of the club’s current leaders and reaffirming its confidence in them.
