Racing in the League Conference a historic stage

After the draw of the Ligue Conférence, the President of Racing, Marc Keller, expressed his satisfaction and enthusiasm at this new important stage for the club. He pointed out that the team had worked hard to reach Europe, after a successful previous season but marked by dams. Keller highlighted the phenomenal evolution of Racing, recalling that the club was playing in CFA in 2012 and that it is currently competing for a European competition in the new Meinau, an achievement that he considers “magnificent”. He also highlighted the public’s expectation and interest in the upcoming games, notably against Crystal Palace, a Premier League team that the Racing coach knows well, promising an interesting shock.

Beyond the identity of the opponents, Marc Keller insisted on the club’s steady progress and the importance of this participation in the League Conference for its development. He expressed the hope that the team could be competitive and continue to progress this year. He also highlighted the public’s enthusiasm for this new European adventure. The president insisted that these movements, although more distant, were essential for the club’s development and that they would strive to be competitive.

The draw of the Conference League revealed the next opponents of the Racing: Slovak Bratislava (Slovakia) in group phase, thus avoiding the Fiorentina. The league phase of the 2025/26 League Conference will take place on six meetings, starting October 2, 2025, with scheduled matches every two weeks. The event was followed closely after the draw of the Europa League. This participation in the Conference League represents a historic moment for Racing, reflecting its ambition and steady progress.
