PSG: Campos in Belgium to spot a young Greek prodigy

Luis Campos, current PSG sports director, spent his Sunday in Belgium to attend two games of Jupiler Pro League. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Campos was present at the meetings Genk/Antwerp (0-1) and Union Saint-Gilloise/Club Bruges (0-0). Although nothing is yet official regarding the extension of the sports director to the end of June, it appears that his future is at the MTP. Indeed, Campos continues to activate and prepare for the next season by multiplying the trips.

The Portuguese would have a Greek nugget in the sight, probably Konstantinos Karetsas, a very young genk prodigy born in Belgium and international Greek with 2 selections. As a 17-year-old player, Karetsas was born in November 2007, like several other great offensive talents related to the PSG in recent months, such as the Argentine offensive milieu Franco Mastantuono de River Plate or the Portuguese offensive milieu Rodrigo Mora de Porto.

The PSG’s main aim is to strengthen its defence, particularly in the axis, but also on the right corridor to replace Ashraf Hakimi. Maxim De Cuyper’s name is often associated with the club of the capital, a versatile, 24-year-old Belgian side player at Club Bruges. He was in office this Sunday against the Union Saint-Gilloise.

In the last square of the Champions League, Arsenal, PSG, FC Barcelona and Inter Milan fight to win the title. According to Opta’s latest analysis, Arsenal is now positioned as the great favourite, ahead of the Barรงa and the PSG. In quarterfinals of the Champions League, Arsenal created the sensation by eliminating Real Madrid (3-0, 2-1). For their part, the PSG, defeated 2-0 by the Gunners in group phase, is about to take up a major challenge in the semi-final against them, after having approached the elimination against Aston Villa in quarter. Meanwhile, Inter Milan, victorious of Bayern Munich, is preparing for a decisive duel against Barรงa.

According to Opta Analyst’s latest projections, Arsenal is now preferred to win the Champions League (31.3% chance), which would mark a first crown for the London club. Indeed, with 199 games played in the competition without ever winning the title, Arsenal holds the sad record of the highest number of matches played without a final victory. The MTP now has a 22% chance of success, a small improvement from 19.3% before shiftwork. FC Barcelona, with 27.4% chance, is among the serious contenders. Inter Milan, despite a 42.5% probability of eliminating the Barรงa, remains the least well placed to win the competition, with only 19.2% chance according to Opta’s statistics.
