Rémy Cabella was not part of the group that represented LOSC in Angers this Sunday. His presence at the concert of JUL, a Marseille rapper, sparked controversy on social networks. The comments were virulent, accusing the former player of disrespecting his club and supporters.

Bruno Genesio, the LOSC coach, tried to turn off the embers by declaring this kind of behavior unacceptable. He also stated that Cabella was an influencer and that this may explain his performance on the ground.

However, Genesio defended his player by stating that he was doing what he wanted for his free time and that his presence at the concert had no impact on the game. Cabella was not the only one absent from the group called to play the 31st day of Ligue 1. Angel Gomes has not been seen on the LOSC bench since the Northern Derby.
