Internship of ASSE in Aix-les-Bains a premature departure despite positive reception

The City of Aix-les-Bains reacted with surprise to the early departure of the ASSE from its internship, which was initially to last seven days but ended after only five. The municipality expressed its astonishment at this decision, noting that it had so far received positive feedback from the club regarding the quality of reception and facilities. The main point of discord seems to concern the state of the lawn at the Jacques-Forestier stadium, considered insufficient by the technical staff of the ASSE, while the city ensures that the terrain is perfectly adapted and level Ligue 1.

The municipality insists on the efforts made to provide the best reception conditions for the club, recalling that ASSE had so far expressed its satisfaction with the quality of the reception and facilities. Although there is still disagreement on the state of the ground, the City of Aix-les-Bains has adopted a measured and conciliatory tone, favouring salvation at the club rather than controversy. She expressed her wish to pursue future collaborations with ASSE and wished her a good sporting season.

The ASSE club, for its part, welcomed the commitment of the municipal services and explained that the decision to return to the city was based on performance requirements at a key point in the summer preparation. The club pointed out that the internship, although shortened, took place without major incident. Despite this slight clash, the City of Aix-les-Bains remains open to the idea of welcoming ASSE again in the future.
