The 20-year-old Portuguese rider, who quickly established himself as a key element of Luis Enrique’s team, revealed his three favourite backgrounds.

For passes in the last third of the field, João Neves admires Joshua Kimmich, whom he describes as an experienced and talented player. For the sense of purpose and the ability to score, he quotes Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala, two more comfortable players in this position on the field.

Despite his young age and rapid integration into the Paris team, João Neves remains humble and recognizes that he still has a long way to go to reach the level of the best terrain.
