Mercato Ligue 2: Staff remodeling and new arrivals

The summer mercato in Ligue 2 is animated, with many clubs undertaking significant maneuvers to remodel their staff. ASSE is preparing for a new era, with significant resources to review its original composition. Several starts are planned, while Kilmer tries to keep the key players of the previous season. The club has already extended Irvin Cardona and Maxime Bernauer, while formalizing the arrival of Mahmoud Jaber. However, competition in Ligue 2 will be fierce, and other second division teams have also launched large-scale operations.

The newly relegated Reims Stadium was forced to separate from several of its important players, including Yehvann Diouf, Nhoa Sangui and AmaDou Koné. These transfers, considered lucrative, allowed the club to strengthen its staff with experienced players such as Yohan Demoncy and Nicolas Pallois. Troyes opened a new cycle under the direction of Antoine Sibierski, with the departures of Nicolas de Préville, Renaud Ripart and Houboulang Mendes. Cyriack Irié joined the Fribourg club, while Lucas Maronnier joined the Aube.

Montpellier HSC, also relegated, is preparing for a major overhaul of its workforce, deprived of offensive solutions after the departures of Andy Delort and Wahbi Khazrri. Zoumana Camara should be able to count on the arrival of Victor Orakpog, on loan, as well as the extensions of Julien Laporte and Christopher Jullien. The club also strengthened its defence with the arrival of Mathieu Michel from Nîmes. Other clubs, such as the USL Dunkirk, have to deal with the departure of their coach Luis Castro from FC Nantes. The Pau FC, for its part, leads a coherent mercato, focused on stability and experience, with the arrival of former Stéphanois Anthony Briançon and the extension of Ousmane Kanaté. Finally, FC Annecy recruits intelligently, with low-cost players.
