Asse Aix-les-Bains course cohesion and serious preparation

To prepare for the Ligue 2 season, ASSE organized an intensive internship in Aix-les-Bains, focusing on strengthening team spirit and building the game project. This crucial week, which took place before a friendly match against Servette de Genรจve, allowed the players to improve their physical condition through strength sessions and physical workshops, while strengthening the links within the group. The internship, which focused on the cohesion and transmission of the club’s values, was designed in a work-friendly environment, combining sports rigor and collective moments of life. The team was able to integrate the new players, lay the foundation for communication on the ground and forge a conquering spirit, essential for an ambitious season.

However, the internship in Aix-les-Bains was shortened due to the poor condition of the natural lawn, forcing the club to repatriate the staff to L’ร‰trat. This transition, facilitated by the geographical proximity of the two sites, does not impact the overall planning schedule. The week ahead will be marked by a fourth friendly match, scheduled for Friday 25 July in Thonon-les-Bains against Paris FC, an important test to assess the team’s readiness before the start of the season. This meeting, broadcast live on ASSE’s official YouTube channel, is particularly expected by fans.

Coach Eirik Horneland focuses on improving team cohesion, defensive discipline and offensive automation. After defeating Servette, he tried to avoid the defensive mistakes that cost League 1 a lot. A final friendly match is scheduled for July 31 in Italy against Cagliari, before the official start of the Ligue 2 season in Laval. Each working session is considered essential to ensure optimal preparation and enable the ASSE to meet the challenges of the competition.
