AS Saint-Étienne (ASSE) pursues an ambitious recruitment strategy by strengthening its recruitment cell with five new scouts. This initiative aims to effectively cover key markets, including France, Southern and Western Europe, South America, and emerging markets in Africa. Each recruiter brings specific expertise, ranging from the detection of post-training talent in France to the exploration of South American and Portuguese fish pools, European youth scouting and analysis of alternative markets. This strategic diversification, supported by a desire to regain a lead over competition, is a crucial step in the club’s reconstruction project.
At the same time, Jessy Moulin, former ASSE goaltender, made a return to football by joining the US Feurs as coach of the goaltenders. After a career of more than 20 years in the colours of Stéphanois, he retired in 2023 to devote himself to other passions, including ponies breeding and mechanical sports. Moulin now wishes to put his experience at the service of the club of the US Feurs, contributing to their ambition to find the National 3, a qualification they have indeed succeeded. He now shares behind the scenes his work on his YouTube channel.
The arrival of these new recruiters and the return of Jessy Moulin demonstrate a strong commitment by ASSE to building an intelligent and sustainable recruitment. The club relies on the anticipation, analysis and long-term valorisation of talent, while relying on the expertise of experienced and passionate professionals. This ambitious strategy is a key element of Kilmer Sports’ project, which aims to revitalize the club and bring it back to the highest level.
