Bouabré sign in Saudi Arabia Monaco realizes 10 million euros

According to RMC Sport, Saïmon Bouabré, a 19-year-old talent from AS Monaco, chose to sign in Saudi Arabia, putting an end to his possible transfer to the Olympique de Marseille. This decision, similar to that of Nathan Zézé, is motivated by a five-year contract and a high salary proposed by NeoM’s club. Bouabré, who played only five games with the Monegasque professional team, will join a team already composed of several French-speaking players, including Lacazette, Benrahmma, Zézé and Marcin Bulka. AS Monaco should receive an allowance of 10 million euros, excluding bonuses, for the sale of this trained player at home.

The signing of Saimon Bouabré with NeoM is part of a policy of acquiring young French talents by the Saudi club, which has already recruited Marcin Bulka, Amadou Koné and has been interested in Alexaandre Lacazette and Said Benrahmma. The AS Monaco, aware of the value of its player, was ready to accept an offer of 10 million euros, despite the continuing interest of the Olympique de Marseille. This transaction represents an important financial blow for the Monegasque club, but also allows to finance other recruitments, such as the current interest for the young Danish attacker Adam Daghim, estimated at 5 million euros.

Along with this central dossier, AS Monaco faces difficulties in extending Maghnes Akliouche’s contract, very courted by the Algerian selection and hoping for a team call from France. Despite a successful preparation, the club hesitates to surrender the player for the price of 70 million euros requested. In an attack, despite significant competition, the ASM monitored the young versatile player Adam Daghim, under contract with RB Salzburg until 2028. This track could prove interesting to strengthen the Monegasque attack at a lower cost.
