As announced on 3 June, central defender Mamadou Sarr returns by loan to the Racing Club in Strasbourg after his definitive transfer to Chelsea. According to our sources, this loan is planned before the beginning of the next season, allowing Sarr to join the Alsatian club after a short period with the Blues. This decision came after the World Cup of Clubs and because of the low anticipated playing time for the player in Chelsea, where he had only 9 minutes of presence in seven games. Sarr’s return is therefore a preferred option to ensure his regular role.
