The Paris FC ensures the continuity of its workforce by extending one of its defensive pillars, Timothy Kolodziejczak, until 2026. The 33-year-old defender, key to the team during the last season with 32 appearances, initially had a contract expiring in June 2025. This extension demonstrates the club’s willingness to maintain an essential element of its team, while the PFC aims for an ambitious mercato. Kolodziejczak, despite the interest of clubs such as OL, Rennes and Metz, remains faithful to Paris.

The LOSC pursues its policy of recruiting young talent by engaging with Cameroonian striker Angel Yondjo for a five-year contract. The Lille club will pay EUR 2 million to the training club of the striker, the Brasseries du Cameroun, who will recover this amount. Yondjo, 18, was courted by several Ligue 1 clubs, including OL, Stade Rennais and FC Metz. The LOSC, which seeks to strengthen its attack after the loss of Jonathan Davidau, managed to win against competition.

For its part, Malo Gusto, OL’s right side, continues to shine in England with Chelsea FC. After winning the Europa Conference League, he contributed to the victory of his team at the World Club Championship, a title he won in France. His departure from OL in 2023 marked a new stage in his career, and he remains a source of pride for former trainers of the Académie Lyonnaise, including Amaury Barlot, who also had another of his former players in Chelsea. In parallel, Mama Dou Sarre, also World Champion, signed in Strasbourg, although he remained on the bench during the final.
