Christopher Nkunku could leave Chelsea shortly after his arrival from the RB Leipzig in July 2023, for a considerably reduced price. The London club is willing to sell it after having initially invested 60 million euros. The striker played 60 games all over the Blues, scoring 18 goals and delivering 5 assists. The previous season, formed at the PSG, he had participated in 42 matches, with 14 goals and 5 assists. Chelsea, having increased its staff to more than 200 million euros, including Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and João Pedro, is now seeking to balance its finances by selling players. Negotiations with interested clubs could take place at a price of around EUR 35 million, half the initial amount requested. Nkunku, a French international with 14 selections and 1 goal, is under contract until June 2029.

Bradley Barcola, after an exceptional season with the PSG and a victory in the Champions League, is about to sign a new contract with the Parisian club. The 22-year-old had an impressive season, competing in 58 games all over the world, with 21 goals and 19 assists, attracting the attention of clubs like Bayern Munich. However, the MTP is committed to maintaining it and plans to discuss a new contract in the coming weeks, in accordance with its development strategy. The Paris management and staff have made the extension of the contract of this French international player (14 selections, 2 goals) a priority since the start of the summer mercato.

The PSG’s willingness to retain Bradley Barcola demonstrates its future importance for the club. The club is aware of the value of the winger and wants to avoid it joining another club. This decision is part of a long-term development policy aimed at maintaining a quality workforce and strengthening the position of the GMP on the European scene. Barcola’s contract extension is therefore a strong signal of the Paris club’s ambition to continue to compete for the biggest titles.
