LOSC: A 2-0 win over Angers, Diakité excluded

The SCO Angers leaned against the LOSC this Sunday (0-2), allowing the Dogues to rise temporarily to second place in the standings. The following are the scores given to the Lille players at the end of the game:

Lucas Chevalier: The Lille goaltender wasn’t very much in demand during the game, but he was decisive in a hot situation, after a bad recovery on his part on a complicated Diakité pass. He could even have been a decisive smuggler at the end of the game for Jonathan David.

Thomas Meunier: The Belgian international was ubiquitous during the meeting, either defensively or at the offensive construction. In particular, he was involved in the second Lille goal and created many differences in his corridor with Haraldsson.

Bafode Diakité: The men’s game started badly with a dangerous pass to Chevalier. The rest was less tumultuous, but he made a mistake of appreciation that excluded him and that would deprive him of the next two Ligue 1 games.

Alexsandro: The Brazilian central defender unblocked the situation by scoring his first goal of the season with a good head. Strong defensively, he made good defensive returns to the surface when the Lille team was at 10.

Ismaily: The left side achieved a very good match in its corridor, with the technical accuracy that characterizes it. It has been responsible for many shifts on its left side and thus confirms its current good shape.

André Gomes: He hardly started his encounter with a lost ball that brought a face-to-face to Angers, but he was rather good at managing tempo and using the ball between lines afterwards. However, he did not take enough risk at certain times.

Benjamin André: The Lille captain made a big match with several balloons scratched in the Angelvin feet, an incessant activity and a lot of availability between the lines to fix the Angelins in the axis.

Hakon Haraldsson: Like his offensive teammates, he just missed technique in the last choices, but he finished the first half in beauty with a very good free kick on Alexsandro’s head. He also scored a nice left foot goal in the second period.

Jonathan David: Once again aligned with Chuba Akpom, the Canadian was less prominent than last week. Often well positioned between the lines, he lacked technical quality to bring danger on the opposite goal. In the second period, it was fairer but failed to find the way to nets twice.

Matias Fernandez-Pardo: One of the strong men of the end of the season again made many differences that could have been decisive without bad choices in the last gesture. But he was an incessant activity in his corridor and very involved in defensive matters.

Chuba Akpom: Like David and Haraldsson, he technically identified with several bad choices, but his presence was interesting to weigh on the Angelvine defense and his races were rewarded with a decisive pass on the second goal in Lille.
