League 1 day: Unbridled offensive and revealed team

The twenty-ninth day of Ligue 1 was distinguished by a remarkable offensive effect, with a total of thirty goals scored on the eight matches, with the exception of the match between FC Nantes and Paris Saint-Germain, postponed to 22 April. This day was marked by a spectacular start, thanks in particular to the unexpected victory of the Stade de Reims on the ground of RC Lens. This heroic performance, characterized by an impenetrable defence, allowed the Rรฉmois to stand out in a significant way in the typical team, with a leading figure, Yehvann Diouf, whose 14 saves were an unrivalled record for two decades and earned him the maximum score of 10. He was accompanied by Sergio Akieme, Mory Gbane and Keito Nakamura, who had recorded a double.

Moreover, the heavy defeat of the Olympique de Marseille against AS Monaco (3-0) also marked the minds. The Monegasques were represented in this selection by Wilfried Singo, who was unattainable in defence, and Denis Zakaria, who was the author of an exceptional midfield performance and final goal, scored on penalty. In order to complete the defensive line, Jonathan Claus, whose two decisive passes contributed to equalisation against the RC Strasbourg (2-2), naturally found its place. The middle of the field was enriched by the presence of Azor Matusiwa, who was the decisive scorer and passer-by during the overwhelming victory of Stade Rennais against Havre AC (1-5), as well as Rayan Cherki, who was also a scorer against AJ Auxerre (1-3).

Finally, the attack of the typical team consists of Ludovic Ajorque, who made a double against the ASSE (3-3), and d’Arnaud Kalimundo, a decisive scorer and smuggler. The standard team on the 29th day of Ligue 1 is thus as follows: Diouf; Claus, Singo, Gbane, Akiem; Cherki, Matusiwa, Zakaria, Nakamura; Kalimundo, Ajorque.
