Paris Saint-Germain formalized Mathieu Le Scornet’s arrival at its training centre. This appointment, expected for some time, makes him the new Technical Director of the Training & Pre-training Centre. The Scornet, having previously worked at Stade Rennais, had the opportunity to collaborate with figures such as Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé in the Breton formation. His integration into the PSG positions him as the right-hand arm of Yohan Cabaye, the sports director of the training centre.
According to the official press release of the club, Mathieu Le Scornet’s main mission will be to ensure the correct application of the technical policy and methodology defined by the PSG for its training and pre-training centre. He will therefore be responsible for ensuring the optimal development of young players. This task is under the direct supervision of Yohan Cabaye, with particular attention to coordination with the various sports departments involved in monitoring young talent.
As part of his duties, Mathieu Le Scornet will be responsible for managing the entire technical staff of the Training & Pre-training Centre. It will ensure effective coordination with other sports services to ensure holistic support for players. This appointment reflects the MTP’s commitment to investing in the development of its young talent and strengthening its training centre for the future.
