The Paris Saint-Germain is about to become champion of France without having suffered any defeat. If the team achieves this feat, it will beat the record for FC Nantes, which had finished the 1994-95 season with only one defeat. Serge Le Dizet, a former FC Nantes player, was enthusiastic that the Parisians could achieve this feat. The PSG is experiencing an exceptional season in Ligue 1 and has already won the title for several weeks. However, the team continues to fight for a historic goal: to become the first French team to finish an undefeated season in the championship. The Parisians came close to this feat twice, during the 2015-2016 and 2021-2022 seasons, but only managed to record two defeats each time. If the PSG manages to remain undefeated in the last four games of the season, it will beat the historic record of FC Nantes and become the first French team to finish a season without defeat in Ligue 1. Serge Le Dizet, who was part of the CF Nantes team that had made this feat 30 years ago, said he was ready to see his own record beat: “We’re all kind of PSG supporters this season. People who love football are happy to see Paris play, it’s our team.”
