OM launches summer preparation with friendly matches and upcoming internships

The Olympique de Marseille officially started its summer preparation for the 2025-2026 season since July 7, under the direction of Roberto De Zerbi. The calendar is loaded and includes two intensive internships as well as six friendly matches. Some of these meetings will be available live on the club’s broadcast platforms, providing an overview of team preparation. The first part of this preparation takes place in the Netherlands, at the KNVB Campus, where OM will face Excelsior Maasluis and Olympic Charleroi in two in camera games, but accessible in free streaming on the YouTube channel and the club’s official website.

The preparation is then continued with an internship in Andorra, within the framework of the Aircup, where OM is scheduled for two important meetings. The games against Girona FC and Valencia CF, which will take place on 26 and 29 July respectively, will be broadcast live on the club’s Twitch channel for subscribers, as well as on the site om.fr, accessible to members of Pieuple Bleu & Blanc. These games offer an opportunity to test the team against renowned opponents and prepare the ground for the upcoming season.

Finally, the Marseille team will conclude its preparation with two home matches at the Orange Vélodrome. The meetings against Sevilla FC and Aston Villa FC, scheduled for 2 and 9 August, respectively, will allow fans to see the team in action before the beginning of Ligue 1. The way these home matches are broadcast is not yet confirmed, but they promise to be an important moment for fans and a crucial step in the preparation of OM for the upcoming season, which starts on the weekend of August 15-17 with a trip to Rennes.
