Lilian Coponata, after eleven years at Olympique Lyonnais, leaves the club this summer to join the GFA Rumilly-Vallières in National 3, with a National 2 climb planned for 2025-2026. Coponata looks back at his progress during these years at OL, highlighting his rise in National 3 and his adaptation to different positions. He highlighted the collective quality of his team during the 2024-2025 season, despite a lack of key players in the final of the Plic. He acknowledged the disappointment of this defeat, but considered that the team had given the maximum. His choice to join Rumilly-Vallières is motivated by an attractive project and a quick response from the club.

For the next season, Coponata aims to aim at the top of the National 2 classification and continue to progress. He is aware of the challenge of this new division, but is motivated by the experience she will offer him and the advice of his former OL teammates who have already evolved at this level. He is also aware of the importance of collective solidarity, as evidenced by the performance of the Norwegian team at Euro 2025, where the players trained together and managed to qualify for the quarter-finals.
