Brighton & Hove Albion won a spectacular match against West Ham United this Saturday in the Premier League, thanks to two goals scored in just four minutes during the extra time. The Seagulls won 3-2 after being scored for much of the game.
Brighton’s first goal was scored by Ayari in the 13th minute, but West Ham managed to equalize with a goal by Mohammed Kudus in the recovery. The Hammers even took the lead with Jarrod Bowen’s goal for Tomas Soucek ten minutes from the end of the game.
However, the additional time reserved a big surprise for the fans of both teams. Replacing the kick-off, Kaoru Mitoma tied for Brighton in the final minutes, before Carlos Baleba scored the goal of victory in the final seconds of the game.
This victory allows Brighton to end a series of five unsuccessful games in the Premier League and get a little closer to qualifying for the League Conference. Carlos Baleba, the author of the winning goal, has become indisputable among the Seagulls this season, with 36 appearances from all competitions, for 4 goals scored and 2 assists delivered.
For West Ham, this defeat scored seven games without a win in the Premier League, which could jeopardize their goal of qualifying for a European Cup.
