Kéiśa Kosugi ready to join Lille a Japanese hope in view

For several weeks now, young Japanese talent Kéita Kosugi has been actively targeted by Celtic Glasgow, but it seems that his future will materialize in Ligue 1, specifically in Lille. The player’s profile was reportedly approved by Bruno Genesio and Olivier Létang, the LOSC recruiters. This potential arrival is part of a strategy of the Lille club to strengthen its staff, notably by seeking a player on loan for Vincent Burlet and a lining for Romain Perraud, following the departures of several left sides during the summer.

According to Foot Mercato, LOSC reportedly targeted Kéita Kosugi at the end of mercato. This 19-year-old left side, which enjoyed a remarkable season with Djurgardens IF, notably reaching the semifinals of the Europa Conference League last season, is a very promising player. Celtic Glasgow, renowned for attracting young Japanese talent, had initially interested Kéita Kosugi.

The arrival of Kéita Kosugi in Lille would be a reinforcement desired by Bruno Genesio to support Romain Perraud. Already considered a reference to his post in Sweden at only 19, this young Japanese player is a major hope of football. The case is therefore ongoing between the LOSC and Djurgardens IF to take over the services of Kéita Kosugi, a player who could become a centrepiece of the future of the Lille club.
