Jean-Pierre Rico, the mayor of Pérols and vice-president of the Métropole de Montpellier, formalized the end of a long debate on the future of the Mosson stadium. Initially, a project envisaged the establishment of the new Montpellier HSC stadium on the Montpellier exhibition centre, located in the territory of Pérols.
