PSG: The attack goes on without Mbappé

The PSG Surprises: The Parisian Attack S’Affirme Sans Mbappé

Despite Kylian Mbappé’s transfer to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain maintained an impressive offensive force this season. The Paris team, despite the loss of its star, posted remarkable efficiency in Ligue 1, scoring as many goals as last season in just fewer games. Initial concerns about the decline in the club’s offensive power have been largely overcome.

On Saturday, in a match against Le Havre AC (winner 2-1), forwards Désiré Doué and Gonçalo Ramos scored the 81st and 82nd goals of the PSG in Ligue 1. This total already exceeds the number of goals scored by the team in the previous season (81 goals in 34 games) in just 29 matches, without the presence of Mbappé.

The contrast is striking with Real Madrid, where Kylian Mbappé joined the composition. Although the French player is present, the Spanish club struggles to compete on the offensive level, scoring “only” 64 goals in 31 matches of Liga.

The official composition of the match between PSG and Le Havre AC (J30 L1) saw goaltender Safonov frame a defence composed of Hakimi (Captain), Beraldo, L. Hernandez and Zaire-Emery. In the middle of the field, Lee, Mayulu and D. Doué were observed. The attack was carried out by Mbaye, Gonçalo Ramos and Barcola.

For Le Havre AC, the composition was directed by Gorgelin, with Nego (Captain), Youté, Lloris and Ballo-Touré in defense. Mr. Diawara, Ab. Touré and Mwanga formed the midfield, while Casimir, Hassan and Soumaré occupied the positions of attacker.
