PSG organises a solidarity day for disadvantaged young people

This Saturday, taking advantage of a forced truce following the postponement of the match against FC Nantes to prepare for their quarter final of the Champions League against Aston Villa, Paris Saint-Germain orchestrated a significant charitable event at the Parc des Princes. The initiative welcomed more than 2,500 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing a moment of comfort and hope in the sports arena. The presence of players such as Presnel Kimpembe and Bradley Barcola, accompanied by youth from the training centre, contributed to the friendly and supportive atmosphere of this day.

The charity event was not the only highlight of this Saturday. A trades forum was also organized, offering young participants an opportunity to discover different career paths and to learn about future trades. This educational dimension reinforces the club’s commitment beyond immediate assistance to encourage the emancipation and academic and professional success of young people.

Fabien Allรจgre, vice-president of the club’s endowment fund, stressed the importance of this initiative, stating that it demonstrates the GMP’s willingness to actively support students in difficulty and invest in the future with humanity and determination. The opening of the Parc des Princes to such a large number of young people underscores the urgency of responding to contemporary social challenges and the club’s commitment to solidarity and inclusion.
