The young football prodigy, Ayyoub Bouaddi, gave a rare interview to the magazine “So Foot Club”, where he opened up to his personal progress. Although he is only 17, Bouaddi has already played the biggest posters with his club in Lille, notably against Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. Interviewed by curious teenagers, Bouaddi estimates that he is 60% of his potential, but points out that it is difficult to be sure.
The LOSC field environment knows that it still needs to work to reach its full potential. His coach, Bruno Genesio, regularly reminds him of the directions of progress to be explored, especially in the last third of the field where he must go further and bring more percussion.
Bouaddi has always been an early young man, both in the field and in the classroom. He became the youngest player to play a European Cup match (16 years and 3 days in the Conference League) and the youngest player to play a League 1 match in the 21st century (16 years and 20 days). Although this precocity may lead to physical problems or premature career ends, Bouaddi is not worried. He points out that the work is suitable for every player in Lille, especially on the muscular level, and that young people are better supervised and advised on life hygiene.
Ayyoub Bouaddi’s promising career began on the pavements of the Domaine de Luchin. Everyone will remember this young man in a hurry who has become an essential player of the LOSC, despite his young age.
