The Football Professional League (LFP) has formalized the dates of the summer mercato 2025. Last Wednesday, the LFP announced the calendars of the next mercato for French professional clubs. Due to Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) participation in the World Cup of Clubs this summer, a first mercato period will be open from 1 to 10 June. This window will allow the MTP to strengthen its workforce for this competition in the United States.

In addition, the normal Mercato period will be set from 16 June to Monday, 1 September, at 8 p.m. Recall that at its meeting on February 27, the LFP Board of Directors decided to set up this exceptional period of mercato, authorized by FIFA as part of the organisation of the World Cup of Clubs.
