Florent Balmont, current assistant coach of the UF Mâcon and member of the 2025-2026 promotion of the Football Trainer Coach Patent (BEFF), continues his training. The French Football Federation published on Wednesday the list of candidates admitted to the BEFF for next season, including former international Jimmy Briand and the triple champion of France Florent Balmont.

At 45, he entered a new stage in his career after obtaining the BEF in 2021 and the DESJEPS in 2022. The BEFF is a crucial step in the training of coaches, which will enable them to supervise an approved Training Centre or a Federal Hopes Centre. This training, which takes place over one season, consists of three Capital Units.

Florent Balmont succeeds other former LOSC residents such as Rio Mavuba and Stéphane Pichot, who took the same training in 2022.
