The captain of the Football Club de Vendée Bretagne (FCVB), Clément Couturier, suffered a ligament injury which unfortunately forced him to observe the end of the sports season. An ankle surgery was performed to treat this injury, and the player can now focus on an intensive rehabilitation program in the hope of a quick return to the field.

In a press release broadcast on Platform X, the club expressed its support for its captain and stressed the importance of this recovery phase for his return to full shape. The absence of Clément Couturier is a hard blow for coach Laurent Combarel, who will now have to deal with a key piece of his team not available.

As the maintenance of the FCVB in the National has not yet been formally assured, the absence of the Malagasy international is all the more damaging and will test the determination and strength of the team in the face of the challenges that remain.
