Despite the growing interest of AC Milan, the Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace (RCSA) maintains its position on the sale of its player Guéla Doué. Originally reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in June, the Milan club’s interest led to two offers, first to 15 million euros and then to 18 million euros, both rejected by the CBCA. The Alsatian club estimates the value of its player to be more than these amounts and does not intend to yield it. Doué is considered a key element for the construction of the team in 2025/2026, like other important players such as Emaunel Emegha and Sevastian Nanasi. The CBCN has clearly set a limit of EUR 30 million for any negotiations concerning Guéla Doué’s departure.
At the same time, left side Thomas Delaine formalized his arrival at Le Havre AC, a Ligue 1 club that recently beat Racing. After three seasons and 49 meetings with the CBCN, Delaine left the club after the end of her contract on June 30th. The Alsatian club expressed its gratitude to the player for his commitment and wished him good luck for the future. The former Metz player had few opportunities last season due to injuries and the club’s policy to focus on young talent.
Guéla Doué, recruited by the CBCN last summer for 6 million euros, is under contract until June 2029. The previous season, he played 32 Ligue 1 games, contributing one goal and two assists. Although the CBCN initially wanted to keep it for at least one additional season, the club is willing to consider selling it if the offer exceeds 30 million euros. This amount, if reached, could encourage the club to surrender its player, even against its own wishes.
