Juventus and PSG negotiate Kolo Muani's final loan a major challenge for Paris Saint-Germain

According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Juventus is determined to keep Randal Kolo Muani for the 2025-2026 season. The player, loaned by Paris Saint-Germain since January, convinced in Turin and became a priority for Igor Tudor, who plans to build his attack around him. Discussions between the two clubs continue, with the Juventus wanting a new loan with purchasing option, while Paris insists on an estimated purchase obligation of between 40 and 45 million euros. Kolo Muani is seduced by Tudor’s project and the prospect of a major role, and wishes to remain in the Juventus. This situation is seen as an opportunity for the Juventus to fill an offensive deficit felt since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, which limited the team to less than 60 goals in Serie A.

The Paris Saint-Germain, after an intensive season with more than 60 games, could consider increasing its strength, especially at the defensive level, given the fatigue accumulated by its players. The defensive sector was particularly sought out, with three of the four incumbent defenders playing more than 50 games. Although Marquinhos and Pachito showed a high quality, the lack of solid replacements worries, especially with the potential departures of Skriniar, Axel Tete and Lucas Hernandez. The return of Nordi Mukiele’s loan does not solve this problem, and even if the club moves on to Ilya Zabarnyi’s name, this would be a limited reinforcement for a demanding position.

The situation in the goaltender position is also complex. Gianluigi Donnarumma wants to stay at the PSG, but not at any price, which complicates the negotiations. In addition, young guards Safonov and Aarnaud Tena are impatient about their lack of play time, which could lead to changes in this sector. Together with the Juventus’ desire to retain Kolo Muani, all these dossiers make this mercato a major challenge for Paris Saint-Germain, which will have to make crucial decisions to ensure the competitiveness of its team.
