Brice Maubleu, ASSE’s experienced goaltender, is back in training after a slight physical injury that took him away from the group in the friendly match against Paris FC. His return is good news for Gautier Larsonneur, his lining, and for the Stรฉphanois attack, which also finds Lucas Staasinn and Djyllian N’Guessan after several weeks of absence. These returns are important to strengthen the workforce and bring depth to the team, although they must remain patient as to their full availability. Maubleu had already played three friendly games during the summer, accumulating 120 minutes of play, in order to support Larsonneur, and his return has been a logical continuity since his arrival last summer.
The absence of Lucas Staasinn and Djyllian N’Guessan during the match against the Paris FC was due to the respective injuries to the ischio-legs and to physical preparation in progress. Staasinn has not yet had the opportunity to play this season, despite rumours of departure, and the leaders of the ASSE seem determined to keep it, unless an irresistible offer. His situation could be a key issue during the end of the St. For the moment, he continues his fitness, but his alignment with Laval remains uncertain.
The arrival of Joshua Duffus, the new recruit expected, should enable Erik Horneland to strengthen the team. However, Staasinn’s availability for the next game against Cagliari is unlikely, as he has not yet joined the band. His return to training is progressive and it is therefore difficult to estimate his chances of starting with Laval. All these returns and arrivals of players suggest an interesting dynamic for ASSE, although there are still uncertainties to be solved.
