According to Sky Sport Italia, AC Milan finally abandoned its attempt to recruit Guéla Doué, following the two categorical refusals of the Racing Club in Strasbourg. The Alsatian club had clearly indicated a minimum value of 30 million euros for the player, which made the successive offers of AC Milan, amounting to 15 and 18 million euros, unacceptable. This firm position in Strasbourg reflects his desire not to sell a player considered a key element for the construction of his team for the 2025/2026 season, like other players like Emanuel Emegha and Sevastian Nanasi.
Guéla Doué’s absence from the trainings of his team is due to a post-operative convalescence following surgery on the adductors. The player follows a specific re-education program in the hall, and should gradually resume the field during the team’s summer internship in Austria, scheduled from July 28 to August 2. This recovery period partly explains the decision of AC Milan to abandon the negotiation, as reported by the transfer expert of Sky Sport Italia, Gianluca Di Marzio.
Faced with the high demands of Strasbourg, which now has greater financial flexibility and can afford not to sell its players at derisory prices, the Alsatian club asserts itself as a more credible player in the transfer market. The AC Milan, after being blocked by the demands of Strasbourg, would now have turned its attention to another player, Marc Pubill, right side of Almeria, to strengthen his strength.
